Does Poop Really Matter?
Does poop really matter? I promise, I’m not trying to get into your personal business, but we can learn a lot from our poop. The basic concept is “What goes in must come out.” Your body is like a machine: it takes what it needs from what you feed it and gets rid of the rest by urine and the bowels.
Some people poop more frequently than others while others struggle to poop on a regular basis. For those that don’t poop regularly, they may experience gas, bloating, and stomach pains and find it difficult to lose weight to name a few. However, if you notice you have a problem with elimination, you should take it seriously, see a doctor. Do not be shy or embarrassed, it can be very serious for your health.
The first step is finding out if there is even a problem. First you should determine how many bowel movements you have daily (BM). If you have one per day it is not a problem, however it is better to have 2 to 3 BM’s a day and more if you eat more often. But if you find you are having one per week or 2 per month, then you have a genuine problem.
Some people might say they don’t find the time poop. The reason could be they are out all day and would prefer to have their BM at home rather than a public bathroom. I totally understand that, but let me tell you, you will keep your colon quite happy if you go several times for the day. If you are looking for a trick it would be to eat lots of raw fruits and vegetables, or in general foods that are high in fiber.
I have just lightly touched on the subject, but if you have a problem, you should consult a doctor and seek help. The bottom line is that your poop does matter. If you’re having a problem, take care of it today and look forward to tomorrow.
